What exactly is self storage?

Once upon a time there was a small, dark warehouse and the door at the entrance would get stuck due to the load of objects inside. But nowadays, self storage is a completely different story, which has become a way of life in the USA and Europe and is becoming more and more popular in Israel as well. At Avia Storage we like to think of it as a hotel for belongings. A safe, secure, clean and tidy place in which you get a storage room that is yours only and only you have access to it. What types of storage do you offer?

Generally  speaking, there are three types - storage of an apartment's contents (suitable if you are in-between apartments, renovating or relocating), self storage in urban locations (relatively small storage rooms that allow you to make space in your home or business) and storage in dedicated boxes delivered to your home (suitable for personal items, collections, books, winter clothes etc.)

What are your opening hours?

Most of our locations are open for existing customers to enter 24/7 using an app or smart card. The exact operating hours of each location can be accessed here. Our customer service is open Sunday-Thursday between 08:00 and 16:00 and on Fridays and holiday eves between 08:00 and 12:30.

How does insurance work?

The insurance is made for each content specifically, according to the item included and the value of each item. The payment for the insurance is set according to the cumulative value of the items, in accordance with the customer's statement. The maximum compensation to be paid in case of damage will be accordingly.
